First and foremost, thank you for visiting my my page and being interested in my photography!
My name is Mallory, I am a southern Florida photographer based out of the Tampa Bay area. I specialize in maternity, families, couples, senior portraits, engagements, events, and am up for almost anything in between!
​
A few facts about me:
•I was born and raised in Central Illinois, then lived in Texas for a year before moving to the sunshine state 3 years ago!
​
•I’ve been married to my hubs, Justus, for 6 years, and we have 3 precious kiddos.
​
•I spend my days caring for my little ones which has been my dream since I was young - to be a stay at home mama.
​
•A few things I’m obsessed with: anything copper, taking road trips or flying, any gummy fruity candy, staying in hotels, and boba tea.

Why I do what i do:
I started doing photography as a teenager and have enjoyed getting to capture off and on over the years as different seasons of my life have allowed me the time to do so.
​
It brings me so much joy to be able to capture and create life-time memories of other's joy and important milestones and memories! I strive to make my photo shoots just as much fun for you as they are for me, since photography is more of my hobby and obsession, rather than a job.
As a photographer, I truly want my clients to be able to be present in each moment of their lives and to be able to enjoy those moments while making memories. Especially as a mama, I know the struggle of wanting to be in the moment, but also capture the moments to cherish later. That's where I can come in to help!
I notice the person stressing trying to work a camera and get everyone to pose and smile at the same time and how it takes your enjoyment of the moment away. I notice the person who's never in the pictures because they're always taking the pictures (hello mamas!). I notice the moments people miss and don't get to enjoy in their every day life because they're trying to capture the memory.
It's my vision to be able to be that person to step in and take over to capture that memory for you, so you can be present and live in the moment.

Photography Style:
My ideal photo shoot location is outdoors in the natural light, and that is where I strive to capture most of my photos. My favorite times to shoot are during sunrise and sunset, hence, my brand logo representing the two, and also a nod to the Sunshine State! I intend for my photos to turn out more natural, rather than artificial. With as few filters and editing changes applied, I love to keep the photos I capture as authentic as possible, while still providing you with high quality images.
I do not limit my time with you during photo shoots, because I enjoy taking my time to get to know you, helping you feel more comfortable in front of a camera, and making sure I capture exactly what you had "pictured." (Because we both know you've already pinned hundreds of specific shots you want to a Pinterest board! And p.s. SHOW ME! I'm here for it, I want to capture exactly what you have in mind!)
I've learned that some of the best photos are captured when people do not feel rushed, especially for kiddos. And I most certainly want our time together to be stress-free for you!

What was your favorite trip or vacation?
Hands down my husband and I's honeymoon to Peoria, AZ and the Grand Canyon! We loved it so much and hope to go back for our 10 year anniversary!
Are you a morning person or night owl?
100% a maaaaaajor night owl! Could stay up until 1am, no problemo. But can't imagine getting out of bed before 7:30am. Trying to force myself to be a morning person lately though and beat my kids out of bed while it's still quiet in the house!
What's something you're afraid of?
Spiders, snakes, anything creepy crawly with lots of legs. Also not a fan of frogs, I don't like how unpredictable they are and knowing they could jump straight at my face at any given moment, it terrifies me.
What's your favorite tv shows or movies?
One of my all time favorite movies is Little Women, and a favorite show would be When Calls the Heart. If the hubs and I are watching together it's Monk, The Pretender, Psych, Perry Mason, or something along those lines. And then we also enjoy watching documentaries on theology!
What's your fav place to get a burger?
Ugh, by FAR, In n Out Burger... it was one of the saddest parts about leaving Texas and moving to Florida and not having one anywhere near me anymore. :( And yes, for any of you Texans reading this, I'm a firm believer that In n Out trumps Whataburger any day! Can't change my mind.
What's your favorite way to spend a weekend?
Love getting a slow start by sleeping in if my kiddos let me, and then loading up and taking a day trip somewhere! Whether it's the zoo, aquarium, a local park or preserve, Disney Springs, etc. Just something out of the house. Always gotta stop for coffee first though! And love taking a break from cooking and going out to eat after our adventure then coming home and vegging for a family movie or game night!

I live in the south...is this even a question? Lol
What's your favorite Cuisine?
I'm probably the least pickiest eater you'll meet, so really anything! But I love some good Chinese chicken lo mein or Mexican steak burrito!
